Kirksville, MO – Seven people were found dead in a duplex near downtown Kirksville, Mo. on Sunday.
Police aren't saying if any of the seven lived there, but they add they are not seeking suspects at this time. The bodies were found after a 911 call reporting a number of unresponsive people and a strange odor inside the home.
Autopsies are scheduled for Monday.
Police Chief Jim Hughes declined to release any information about the victims Sunday night. The case is classified as an unattended deaths investigation; Hughes would not say when the deaths were thought to have occurred.
Police also removed a Dodge minivan from an enclosed garage beneath the duplex.
