Joplin, MO – About 200 students at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin are being tested after a student was confirmed to have tuberculosis.
Joplin health officials say the tests were conducted on campus Tuesday and results are expected Thursday.
Students who were tested are classmates or former roommates of the infected student, who lived in a Missouri Southern dorm last spring.
The student is being treated for the air-borne disease.
