St. Louis, MO – St. Louis will be part of the road to the final four in 2010; the NCAA on Thursday announced the city will host regional games in the men's basketball tournament.
That will be the ninth time in a decade that the city will have hosted a major NCAA event, including last year's Final Four and this year's college soccer championship.
Kansas City also was named to host first-and second-round NCAA tournament games in 2009.
Specifically, St. Louis will host the Midwest Regional, which means semifinals and finals games will be played at the Edward Jones Dome. The winner of the Midwest Regional will be one of the Final Four. The Final Four in 2010 will be played in Indianapolis.
