St. Louis, MO – The leader of all Eastern Rite Catholics around the world is in St. Louis this weekend.
Nasrallah Peter Cardinal Sfier is the patriarch of the Maronite Church, a brand of catholicism based in Lebanon.
His visit to St. Louis is considered the most significant by any church official since that of the late Pope John Paul the Second in 1999.
