St. Louis, MO. – Officials are urging drivers heading to Lambert Airport over the Thanksgiving holiday to be patient when looking for a place to park.
The airport is expecting 250,000 people to pass through between Wednesday and Monday.
There are 600 fewer spaces at the main terminal garage because of ongoing construction. But spokeswoman Sandy Singer says there are several alternative parking sites.
We have an ample supply of parking around the intermediate express and our new economy lot, which just opened about two weeks ago, which is just right off of Lambert International Boulevard across from Cypress Road, Singer said.
Singer says airport staff will re-direct drivers to the other parking lots if the garage becomes full.
