St. Louis, MO – A soldier from central Missouri has died from injuries in Iraq. The Pentagon said today (Tuesday) that Obediah Kolath, 32, died this weekend in Germany.
He was injured in an explosion in Iraq last week.
Kolath was from Louisburg, Mo., which is about 40 miles north of Springfield.
He was assigned to the U.S. Special Operations Command, based at Fort Bragg, NC.
