St. Louis, MO – Officials at Laclede Gas said Tuesday they had reached an agreement on a new four-year contract for workers in two union locals.
More than 1,300 members of the PACE Workers union still need to approve the deal. They're in the PACE Locals 5-6 and 5-194.
The union workers rejected Laclede's last contract offer earlier this month. But they never voted to strike and thus stayed on the job during contract talks. They've been working for almost two weeks without a contract.
