Five dead in head-on car crash south of St. Louis


Farmington, Mo. – Five people were killed in a head-on crash in St. Francois County late Saturday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a car crossed the center line and collided with another car on Missouri Route OO just southeast of Farmington.

The patrol identified the three victims in the car that was headed the wrong way as 59-year-old Bessie Barker of Farmington, 57-year-old Walter Barker of Farmington, and 60-year-old Norma Holloway of Arnold. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The occupants of the other car who died were identified as 46-year-old Yvonne Fulton and 48-year-old Gregory Fulton - both of Farmington. Both were taken to hospitals, where they were pronounced dead.
