Columbia, Mo. – Anheuser-Busch InBev is welcoming 100 Clydesdales to its new 350-acre farm in central Missouri. The farm overlooks the Missouri River, near the town of Overton in Cooper County.
When it reaches full capacity with 150 horses, it will be the company's largest breeding facility.
Despite InBev's recent purchase of A-B, the Clydesdales are expected to remain a symbol for Budweiser and other products.
The brewer has been secretive about the purchase of the property, and a media tour this week provided a rare glimpse at the farm.
The company's general manager of Clydesdale operations says the farm will not be open to the public but may be used to shoot commercials.
