St. Louis, MO – Missouri State Auditor Susan Montee will release her office's findings Thursday about the finances of the Riverview Gardens School District in north St. Louis County.
The school board could also announce the fate of the district's superintendent, Henry Williams.
Montee's audit comes during the same week that the Post-Dispatch reported that Williams was padding his own retirement and insurance accounts (the audit's release had been planned before the newspaper's story was published). The district's school board met in closed session after that report, but so far hasn't said what happened in that meeting.
Fox 2, though, is reporting that Williams was suspended during that meeting and there will be a hearing next month to determine whether to fire him.
