Kirksville, MO – Preliminary autopsy results this morning (Tuesday) show all seven people found dead inside a duplex in Kirksville, Mo. this weekend suffered carbon monoxide poisoning.
The county coroner there says the autopsies Monday in Columbia showed no signs of injury or struggle among any of the victims.
Toxicology results won't be available for at least a month, though, and those will determine whether other factors contributed to the deaths. That's why there's no final determination as to whether the deaths were accidental.
Police aren't commenting. The bodies were discovered Sunday afternoon.
