St. Louis, MO – People can go to the Missouri Botanical Garden on the cheap today (Tuesday).
Peter Raven is celebrating his 35th year as the garden's president, and today, admission will be just 35 cents.
Raven is a world leader in conservation and a leading advocate for biodiversity and sustainable environment. The former Stanford University botany professor came to the garden in August 1971 at age 35.
Visitors to the garden can also sign a congratulatory banner, or enter a drawing to have a personal tour of the garden with Raven.
