Columbia, MO – University of Missouri President Elson Floyd got a pay raise and a contract extension on Monday.
The UM Board of Curators approved a two-year contract extension and raise, which means Floyd will be retained as UM President until 2010. The 6% raise increases Floyd's salary by $21,000. His salary next year will be $371,000.
The board also said Floyd was doing a "satisfactory" job, which means another $50,000 will go into his deferred compensation plan.
