Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina's decision to let St. Louis-based Express Scripts provide drug coverage for state workers is being challenged.
The company that has covered workers for the past decade - MedCo - is challenging the recent contract decision.
MedCo says Express didn't inform South Carolina officials that Express faced a lawsuit in New York.
Express denies the allegations in New York and adds that it did mention the lawsuit when it filed papers with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The legal battle could mean a new bid process.
