The U City in Bloom Garden Tour and Plein Air Art Festival is on Sunday, October 1, from 1 – 5 PM. It highlights seven distinctive gardens in the Musick and Meridian neighborhoods located just north of Olive Boulevard on the east and west sides of Midland Avenue. Local musicians will perform "music in the Musick neighborhood" in some locations. Plein air artists are welcome to paint anywhere in University City during the month of September as well as beginning at 9 AM during the day of the Tour. A reception follows the Tour at 5 PM at Centennial Commons (7210 Olive Blvd). Enjoy light refreshments and drinks while viewing the finished creations by the artists.
