The St. Louis 48hr Film Project, made possible by Galleria 6 Cinemas, is an opportunity for teams of local filmmakers (from professionals to hobbyists) to create their own short films from start to finish over one weekend. They are given just 48 hours to write, cast, film and edit.

Afterward, the films are screened for audiences and a film is selected to represent St. Louis in the international 48 Hour competition. Participants frequently note that the real reward, however, is the experience of seeing their work on the big screen and joining others in the film community for this exciting and unique experience.
