Get ready for a series of high-speed races in the heart of downtown Edwardsville. Hundreds of cyclists from over 10 states will compete for $10,000, one of the largest one-day payouts in the region! The festival is a series of high-speed bicycle races complimented with an Entertainment Zone including three bands, food and drink, and cold treats. Come to Entertainment Zone in the center of racing! Enjoy food trucks, drinks, and live music while watching the cyclists. Adult beverages will be available within the open container perimeter around the course. Feel bicycle racers zoom by on the narrow course featuring several twists and turns to complete a 0.7-mile lap on repeat over a span of time. Racers of varying skill levels will begin and end at the start/finish line located on Main Street. Click here for more information on the day's events. This race is sanctioned by USA Cycling Association. The event will be held rain or shine and helmets must be worn while on the bike. This unique signature event has been hosted by the Rotary Club of Edwardsville as a fundraiser for their service projects, grants, and scholarships. Come out and have fun while supporting a great cause! The Edwardsville Criterium race will be part of the Illinois Cup via the Illinois Racing Association and will be the concluding event with awards being presented!
