Washington – President Bush has declared a state of emergency in Missouri following the recent ice storm.
That means the Federal Emergency Management Agency will help state agencies remove debris and do other cleanup work.
The storm was a factor in four deaths in Missouri.
In northwest Missouri, about 400 linemen are working to restore power to about 65,000 homes and businesses after icy tree limbs crashed onto power lines.
At least eight small towns were left without power.
