Springfield, Ill. – Illinois lawmakers did not pass a budget Thursday, which means they're in a so-called overtime session.'
Majority Democrats spent the past few weeks quarreling and pointing fingers, and top leaders never appeared to be on the same page.
And those problems for the Democrats now might open the door for Republicans to get more involved.
