St. Louis, MO – On June 15, the state of Missouri will take over and decertify the St. Louis School District.
The controversial move is likely to accelerate student population loss. By losing accreditation, the district now has to pay neighboring districts to take students who want to transfer.
Upwards of 15% of the district's 32,000 students could be headed out of the St. Louis School District.
