St. Louis – In the St. Louis area, asking if Saint Louis University is Catholic is almost like asking the same question about the Pope.

But in a lawsuit over public financing for its new basketball arena, SLU attorneys are arguing that the university is not controlled by a religious creed.

The Missouri Supreme Court will take up the case Wednesday (2/21). KWMU's Matt Sepic reports.
