St. Louis, MO – Candidates in St. Louis City started filing to run for office in the March primary this morning (Monday).
Half of the seats on the board of alderman are up for election, as is the job of President of the Board of Aldermen.
Incumbent Aldermanic President Jim Shrewsbury will face a challenge from Sixth Ward Alderman Lewis Reed.
Three people have said they'll run to fill's Reed's seat in the Sixth Ward. Other aldermen facing a challenge include:
- Terry Kennedy, 18th Ward, who will face a challenge from former School Board member Bill Haas.
- Frank William, 26th Ward, who will be challenged by Lee Willis.
