Washington D.C. – Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt is criticizing the movie industry for giving a Christian-themed movie a PG rating, instead of a G.
The Motion Picture Association of America says it gave "Facing the Giants," a movie about a high school football coach's faith in God, a PG rating for its mature content, not its Christian themes.
Blunt says he is concerned that movie officials consider Christian themes more dangerous for children than sex and violence.
Some lawmakers are calling for a congressional hearing. They want more uniform standards for movie and video game ratings.
