St. Louis, MO – Jury selection begins today (Monday) in the trial of Rams defensive end Leonard Little.
He faces felony charges for driving drunk in Ladue last April. A law in Missouri lets prosecutors to pursue a felony charge in DUI cases if the defendant has previously been convicted of manslaughter.
Little pleaded guilty in 1999 to involuntary manslaughter in the death of Susan Gutweiler, of Oakville. For that crime, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail and four years' probation.
Little has pleaded not guilty to the latest DUI charge.
