St. Louis, MO – This year's last season in Busch Stadium will end another chapter in the history of St. Louis baseball.
That history goes back into the 1800's, and author Steve Steinberg has written a book about St. Louis baseball from 1900-1925.
Steinberg's book (called "Baseball in St. Louis: 1900 - 1925.") is as much about photographs from the era as written history.
He recently spoke with KWMU's Tom Weber about why he chose that time period to document.
