St. Louis, MO – St. Louis radio host John Carney pleaded guilty to suspicion of drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
A judge also ordered Carney -- a radio personality on KMOX in St. Louis -- to join Alcoholics Anonymous.
Carney was removed from the air following his arrest in the early morning hours of September 26th. He returned last week.
Police say Carney was driving an SUV that rear-ended a vehicle stopped in traffic on Interstate 64 in St. Louis, then allegedly left the scene.
Police later spotted the SUV with front-end damage and both front tires flat.
Officers say Carney refused to take a breath test or blood test.
