Republican leaders met with Missouri Governor Bob Holden Tuesday to urge the Democrat to sign the budget.
Lawmakers are working this week to raise enough money to pay for everything in the budget they passed last week.
Holden has threatened to veto that budget. If that happens, he'll have to call lawmakers back to Jefferson City in a special session to rework the numbers. Missy Shelton prepared this report from Jefferson City.
