Springfield, MO – The Democratic candidate for Vice President spent the night in Springfield Missouri.
John Edwards spoke Sunday night to thousands at Southwest Missouri State University. He hit on many John Kerry-John Edwards campaign themes like health care and job security.
Edwards will also speak today (Monday) with a small group of people today at a home in a town near Springfield, called Willard. The event is not open to the public.
Democrats running for the White House have typically passed over southwest Missouri because that part of the state is considered a Republican stronghold.
