St. Louis, MO – A St. Louis area company that makes software to allow people to copy DVD's has settled a lawsuit with the movie industry.
321 Studios has agreed to stop selling the DVD and video game-copying software worldwide.
The company folded last month because it faced lawsuits by both Hollywood and the video-game industry.
321 and Hollywood have sued and counter-sued during the past two years over the DVD copying issue.
The announcement of the settlement came from a spokesman for the Motion Picture Association of America. The company's owners also agreed to a financial settlement. Terms were not disclosed.
Robert Moore, owner of 321 Studios, declined to comment.
