St. Louis – An American Connection plane with 26 passengers and three crew members on board landed safely Thursday night at Lambert Airport in St. Louis.
The commuter carrier serving American Airlines was trying to land around 7 p.m. when its nose gear didn't fully retract for landing.
An airport spokesman says the pilot landed the plane on its back wheels as much as possible and gently let the nose down.
There are no reported injuries.
