The St. Louis String Collective is hosting its third annual St. Louis Strings Summit from 9AM - 4PM from Monday, June 23rd - Friday, June 27th with an optional daily jam session taking place from 4-5PM daily. Activities will be held at Kindred UCC (formerly Maplewood UCC) located at 2200 Bellevue Avenue, Maplewood, MO 63143. 

Student range in age from 12 through adult, and the daily schedule consists of a 9AM ensemble rehearsal, 10AM -elective #1, 11AM elective, #2, 12PM lunch, 1PM faculty concert, 2PM elective #3, 3PM ensemble rehearsal.

Past classes have consisted of subjects including: Learn a Swedish Tune, Old Time Fiddle Styles,  Intro to Music Theory, Let’s Go Blues, Cellos Rule the World, and How Do I Practice This Stuff?

Participants are required to bring their own lunch with them each day. A final concert with free admission will be given by student ensembles on Friday, June 27th at 3PM.

The camp enrollment fee is $375, and to ensure enrollment, a nonrefundable deposit of $75 is due at the time of initial registration. The remaining balance is to be paid on or before Monday, June 9th.
