Scottish Band Whisky Kiss at Anniversary Event

Scottish Band Whisky Kiss at Anniversary Event
The Scottish St. Andrew Society of Greater St. Louis is hosting Scottish ceilidh (KAY-lee) band, Whisky Kiss, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Society’s founding on Saturday, April 29th at the St. Louis Frontenac Hilton hotel. Tickets for the event are $125 per person and includes a buffet dinner, cash bar, and live music from Whisky Kiss. All are welcome at this celebration.
Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Whisky Kiss is a traditional Scottish ceilidh band featuring fiddle, accordion, bagpipes, and drums. As the only traditional ceilidh band with an iTunes Number One song (Jock’s Revenge), Whisky Kiss has performed at star-studded events around the world - such as New York Tartan Week and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe - and has been called “quite possibly The World’s Best Ceilidh Band”.
This anniversary event celebrates the Scottish St. Andrew Society’s 50-year legacy, and invites all interested people in the area to attend the event and learn more about the Scottish community in the greater St. Louis region.
