Poetry in the Garden: Nature
Poetry in the Garden: Nature
The Field House Museum is pleased to announce its inaugural Poetry in the Garden competition series, held over four dates from May to July in the museum’s garden in downtown St. Louis.
This competition aims to honor the legacy of 19th-century poet Eugene Field by inviting local poets to create and perform their own works inspired by some of the themes he returned to again and again over the course of his career – love, food & drink, nature, and current events.
The third event in the series, held on June 20 from 5:15 to 6:15 pm, highlights poems about nature. Interested in submitting a poem? Visit https://fieldhousemuseum.org/events/programs/poetry-in-the-garden/ for more details.
