April 5th is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Moses Dickson - abolitionist, Black activist, leader, and organizer. In 1903, Father Dickson Cemetery opened, named for the noted leader. Dr. Jeffrey Smith, Professor Emeritus of History at Lindenwood University discusses the significance of Dickson and the evolution of the African American burial ground named for him.
