BLUEPRINT COFFEE AND LEFT BANK BOOKS QUEER JOY JUNE BOOK BAZAAR AT HIGH LOW

BLUEPRINT COFFEE AND LEFT BANK BOOKS QUEER JOY JUNE BOOK BAZAAR AT HIGH LOW

The specialty coffee roaster and St. Louis’ oldest independent bookstore are teaming up for a monthly summer book bazaar series to be held at High Low, the specialty roaster's literary arts cafe in partnership with the Kranzberg Arts Foundation, in the vibrant Grand Center Arts District. The inaugural Book Bazaar will kick off on Sunday, June 11!

Blueprint Coffee and Left Bank are thrilled to partner with the Kranzberg Arts Foundation on the upcoming Summer Book Bazaar series, which will offer coffee fans and book lovers alike the opportunity to browse curated selections and merchandise from Left Bank outside the cafe, amongst the Walls Off Washington, a series of 20 thought-provoking murals by renowned local, national and international artists.

Left Bank will offer a diverse selection of literary offerings each month, with a rotating selection highlighting the Left Bank 2023 Reading Challenge. The pop-up kicks off on Sunday, June 11, with Pride selections that will showcase Left Bank’s Queer Joy June Reading Challenge, followed by “Jump Scare July” on Sunday, July 13, featuring all things horror related. The series will round out with an “Empowering August” theme on Sunday, Aug. 9, featuring selections that celebrate diversity in literature and highlight titles from under-represented voices. Blueprint High Low will offer its full beverage and pastry menu in the cafe as well as themed specials, and guests are encouraged to grab a beverage, shop the pop-up, and cozy up with their purchases.

The bustling midtown location is a haven for artists in St. Louis, with books lining the shelves of the cafe, a 600-square-foot gallery space with rotating exhibitions from St. Louis artists (currently After the Disco at High Low: Emily Elliot), and a listening room with poetry readings, storytelling, literary series, and book signings. The pop-up series marks the first collaboration between Blueprint Coffee and Left Bank Books, the oldest and largest independently-owned full-line bookstore in St. Louis. Located at the corner of Euclid and McPherson in the historic Central West End neighborhood, Left Bank has been a staple in the St. Louis community for over 50 years, offering a full line of new and used books, gifts, cards, toys, and services.

The Summer Book Bazaar series is open to the public, with books and merchandise available for purchase on the second Sunday of each month throughout the summer season.
