St. Louis author and historian NiNi Harris will discuss her research for her latest book "Black St. Louis: 1764 to the New Millenium." Scouring slave schedules, city directories, public school records and census records, Harris recounts the successes and growth of Black St. Louisans as they faced great challenges during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
