Authorities say a brother of St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay has been arrested outside a casino on suspicion of possessing heroin.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 48-year-old Leo Slay on Sunday at the River City Casino after fielding reports of hit-and-run collisions in the parking lot.

Leo Slay was charged in May with misdemeanor illegal use of drug paraphernalia. He pleaded not guilty last week in St. Louis Circuit Court.

Leo Slay is one of the mayor's five brothers, and recently lived in south St. Louis County.

Mayor Slay's office did not respond to a message Tuesday seeking comment.

Leo Slay doesn't have a listed telephone number, and Missouri's online court records do not list a lawyer for him.
