St. Louis, MO – The former head of the St. Louis medical product company Mallinckrodt died Friday in a motorcycle accident.
Ray Holman was 63.
He retired from Mallinckrodt in 2002 after 26 years. Holman was also chairman of the board of Barnes-Jewish Hospital and a trustee at Washington University, and he was active with the St. Louis Science Center and the Boy Scouts.
The UM-Columbia graduate went to work for Mallinckrodt in 1976 and became CEO in 1992 and chairman in 1994.
Survivors include his wife and three sons.
