St. Louis, MO – The new issue of Time Magazine, which hits newsstands today (Monday), features a Marine from St. Louis on the cover.

Corporal Eric Shelvy is with the Third Batallion Fifth Regiment, India Company. He's on his second tour of duty in Iraq stationed in Fallujah.

Shelvy's image accompanies the magazine's cover story about the battle to rid Fallujah of insurgents. The article is titled "Street Fight: Inside the Battle for Fallujah."

Last December, a soldier from the Missouri town of Lake Ozark was one of three on the cover of the magazine's "Person of the Year" edition. The magazine named the American soldier as its 2003 Person of the Year, and Sergeant Ronald Buxton was one of three such soldiers to help depict the honoree on the cover.
