St. Louis, MO – The Harris-Stowe Lady Hornets' basketball team won Tuesday night. The 75-59 win over St. Louis College of Pharmacy snapped a 71-game losing streak that dated back to November 21, 2000.
The streak was a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletes (NAIA) record.
Laniya Stevens scored 28 points to lead the Lady Hornets; Tara Lambert added 16 points. Harris-Stowe is now 1-4 on the season; St. Louis Pharmacy fell to 0-6.
