Roll the Dice Improv Comedy Game Show

Roll the Dice Improv Comedy Game Show
Audience-Powered Improv Hits the KPAC Stage with “Roll the Dice”
What happens when a local improv troupe lets the audience take the wheel — or in this case, roll the dice? You get “Roll the Dice,” the signature interactive comedy show from Extraneous, Commas, performing Sunday, June 1 at 4 PM in the Strauss Black Box Theatre at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center.
This isn’t your typical improv night. Instead of a set lineup, the show’s structure depends entirely on dice rolls from the audience, determining which short-form games the performers must play on the spot. Think Whose Line Is It Anyway? meets board game night, with singing, dancing, on-the-fly storytelling, and absolutely no script.
What makes this performance even more exciting is the appearance of special guest improviser Jonathan Garland, a dynamic performer known for his quick wit and magnetic stage presence. Also featured is local favorite Joe McChesney, a skilled improviser and avid cyclist who brings physicality and energy to every performance.
With ticket prices between $20–$35 and the option to buy at the door (fee-free!), this show offers an affordable, family-friendly afternoon of laughter and creativity — and a behind-the-scenes look at the high-wire act of live comedy with no safety net.
We’d love to connect for a preview story, photo opportunity, or interview with the cast.
Let us know if you'd like to attend or learn more — we'd be thrilled to share the magic of making it up as we go.
