The Gateway Korea Foundation in partnership with the Missouri Humanities and with support from the Missouri Humanities Trust Fund, invites you to join us for this special webinar on the Korean Language called Hangul. Dr. Daniel Pieper will discuss Homer Hulbert's research on the Korean language during the 1880s and 1890s, including his Samin p'ilchi textbook. Dr. Pieper is the Korea Foundation Lecturer in Korean Studies at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He specializes in modern Korean language and literary history.
