Jefferson City, Mo. – Democrats are denying media reports that their Senatorial Campaign Committee, the DSCC, shifted TV ad money away from Missouri.
The initial report came from the National Journal's online publication, "Hotline on Call", which claims the DSCC cancelled two weeks worth of TV ads at stations in Kansas City. The report also calls the move "an indication" that the committee doesn't think Democrat Robin Carnahan will win Missouri's Senate race.
But an official with the DSCC says the "Hotline on Call" article is completely false.
A few media outlets ran with the story, and a link was also circulated via Twitter.
