St. Louis – A few remaining Chrysler employees are packing up equipment at the company's Fenton North plant this week. The facility is scheduled to close Friday.

The final Dodge Ram pickup truck rolled off the line Thursday.

Chrysler decided to close the plant earlier this year as part of its bankruptcy reorganization plan.

Last year Chrysler closed the Fenton South plant, which made minivans.

The company plans to continue production of the Dodge Ram at plants in Michigan and Mexico.

Sales of the pickup fell 31 per cent last year over 2007, and have continued to drop this year.
