St. Louis, MO – A strong thunderstorm today tore part of the facade off of a hotel in downtown St. Louis.
The city's convention and visitor's center said suites at the Renaissance St. Louis Hotel were evacuated as a result of the damage. No injuries were reported and guests were moved to other hotels.
The Renaissance is located next to the America's Center.
Elsewhere in the area, some traffic lights were knocked out and tree limbs were scattered on streets and residences.
