St. Louis, MO – The up-and-down ride of the inquiry into former Gov. Matt Blunt's email practices has taken another turn: investigators say they now plan to issue a report on their findings.
This is a reversal of Tuesday's announcement, where lead investigator Mel Fisher said they were halting their work and would issue no report.
Court-appointed attorney Louis Leonatti said Friday that the investigators have decided to reverse their decision and will now share their findings. The change came when the attorney general's office assured investigators that all legal expenses will be covered by the state in the event of a lawsuit.
Leonatti has asked that the report deadline be moved to February 13th.
