Springfield, Ill. – Governor Rod Blagojevich's attorney says he will submit President-elect Barack Obama's internal report on contacts with the governor to the Illinois House committee weighing impeachment.
Attorney Ed Genson says the report would support Blagojevich's claims that he hasn't done anything wrong in his handling of Obama's vacant Senate seat.
State Rep. Barbara Flynn Currie, who chairs the committee, says Genson's request to submit the report would probably be approved.
The House panel is scheduled to resume work Monday.
