St. Louis – The city of St. Louis will dedicate a monument to slain police officer Norvelle Brown. It will be unveiled on Saturday at the Wohl Recreation Center in north St. Louis.
AmerenUE and the St. Louis Gateway Classic Sports Foundation are sponsoring the dedication.
Brown was a 22-year-old rookie officer when he was gunned down in August 2007 while patrolling the same north city streets where he grew up.
