Edwardsville, Ill. – A judge in Madison County has revoked the bond of a former Southern Illinois University Edwardsville student awaiting trial on charges he threatened a "murderous rampage."
Olutosin Oduwole had been free until he was arrested last month in Missouri for allegedly trying to buy a .45 caliber semiautomatic handgun from a St. Charles gun dealer.
The dealer ran a required national background check and learned he could not sell the weapon to Oduwole because of the felony indictment.
Oduwole was first arrested last year after police found a gun in his apartment and a note in his car that threatened killings similar to the Virginia Tech shootings.
