St. Louis – Even as Missourians have vacillated between the major parties in recent state and national elections, one thing has stayed the same.
Voters here have elected a Democrat to the office of state attorney general four times in the last 16 years. And it has been the same Democrat, Jay Nixon.
Now the attorney general hopes to ride that wave of popularity into the governor's mansion.
